Conveyancing Quality Scheme 

Massers are members of The Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS).  This scheme is a recognised quality standard for practices that conduct residential conveyancing work. 

By continued membership of the scheme since 2012 demonstrates our ability to: 

  • deliver quality residential conveyancing service; 
  • use standardised and regulatory approved processes to manage and reduce risks; 
  • have a highly trained team of professionals with specialist knowledge.

Diversity Data

As part of our obligations to the Solicitors Regulatory Authority (SRA), we are obliged to collect and publish diversity data concerning our staff bi-annually.  The reasons for this are numerous but include: 

  • To inform SRA publications or engagement with people as part of their work to promote diversity in the profession. 
  • In the SRA’s regulatory reform work to help them monitor the diversity impact of the changes they make. 
  • To help the SRA meet their public sector equality duty, for example monitoring their decision-making by protected characteristics. 
  • To facilitate research and analysis by others. 
  • To meet reporting requirements to the Legal Services Board or the Ministry of Justice.

Terms of Business

As part of our regulatory duty, we must always send you the latest copy of our Terms of Business on the commencement of any work we conduct for you.  This outlines the service that you should expect from Massers and is our contract with you or your business.

File Retention

We do have to retain client files for a certain period of time after your matter has been concluded for a variety of reasons.
